Our commercial aviation practice covers technical advisory, transaction support, and market intelligence — delivered with the independence and personal attention the large firms cannot offer.

We are looking for a Contract Associate to support our Commercial Aviation practice on a project basis. This role is ideal for MSAF candidates or recent graduates with an interest in aircraft leasing, aviation finance, and commercial aviation markets.

The Role

Associates at SO Aero take ownership of analytical and advisory workstreams, leading project deliverables from scoping through final output.

Lead fleet market analysis and data research across commercial aviation sectors
Drive industry trend reports and client briefings from concept to completion
Own competitive and valuation research across aircraft types and markets
Coordinate directly with SO Aero partners on active engagements
Support transaction advisory and market intelligence mandates

Ideal Candidate

Strong quantitative and research skills
Familiarity with commercial aviation fundamentals — leasing, fleets, finance
Desire to work on real mandates in a boutique advisory environment
ERAU MSAF candidate or graduate strongly preferred
Comfortable owning deliverables end-to-end

This is a project-based contract position. Compensation is commensurate with scope and experience. Exceptional contributors will be considered for recurring engagements and long-term collaboration as the firm grows.
