SO Aero is a boutique global aviation advisory firm built on generations of industry heritage and deep relationships across commercial and business aviation. We work with HNWI and corporate aircraft owners, independent FBO operators, charter companies, and new entrants to the industry — delivering multidisciplinary advisory that sees the full picture.

We are looking for a Contract Associate to support our Business & General Aviation practice on a project basis. This is a remote, flexible engagement suited for MSAF candidates or recent aviation finance graduates who want real client-facing work and direct mentorship from industry professionals.

The Role

Associates at SO Aero take ownership of analytical and advisory workstreams, leading project deliverables from scoping through final output.

  • Lead market research and competitive analysis across BGA sectors
  • Drive client-ready reports and presentations from concept to completion
  • Own financial modeling and data analysis workstreams
  • Coordinate directly with SO Aero partners on active engagements
  • Support aircraft advisory, FBO strategy, and new entrant engagements
Ideal Candidate
  • Background in aviation business or finance
  • Strong analytical and written communication skills
  • Genuine interest in business and general aviation
  • ERAU MSAF candidate or graduate strongly preferred
  • Comfortable working independently to tight deadlines
This is a project-based contract position. Compensation is commensurate with scope and experience. Exceptional contributors will be considered for recurring engagements and long-term collaboration as the firm grows.
